Projects and subscribers
Set the project up once, run every period from the same place
What it does
Six pieces of project setup
The project summary is an identity card
Unit and meter counts, contract details, management contacts, unread meters and modem status sit on one page. You see the state of a project the moment you open it.
- Figures and contract details
- Unread meter list
- Modem status
Loop: the container for reading
Physical structure (block) and reading structure (loop) are kept apart. Modem and M-Bus converter definitions live on the loop, and its scope can be the whole project, a few blocks, selected units or individual meters — which also makes it the quickest way to set a billing scope.
- Modem and converter definitions
- Flexible scope: block, unit or meter
- Bulk meter assignment to a loop
Bulk import from Excel
You do not enter hundreds of units by hand. Units and people are imported with a template, and rows that fail are reported with a reason.
- Unit template
- People template (owner / tenant)
- Failed row report
Floor area feeds the calculation
Because heat cost allocation uses usable area (m²), unit areas must be right. Missing area data raises a warning before billing.
- Usable area per unit
- Missing data warnings
- Pre-period checklist
People and users are different
Owner and tenant records (people) are not the same as the people who sign in to the panel (users). A resident never signs in; they reach their own statement through a link.
- Owner and tenant distinction
- Filter for missing phone or email
- Unit-specific statement link
Contract and management details
Contract dates, management contacts and communication details live on the project and are used in billing notifications and quotes.
- Contract period
- Management contacts
- Recipients copied on notifications

Frequently asked questions
What people ask about setup
Do we have to enter hundreds of units one by one?
No. Units and people are imported in bulk with an Excel template. Because heat cost allocation uses usable area (m²), getting the area figures right matters.
What happens to past bills when a unit changes owner?
A closed period is locked into the record; statements keep the contact details of that period. The new owner becomes the counterparty for subsequent periods.
