Reading is based on the M-Bus protocol rather than a manufacturer's own software. Your installed heat and water meters stay where they are; what changes is how you read and bill them.

The record carries evidence
Every reading keeps its source, timestamp and returned value in permanent storage. A remotely read index cannot be edited by hand — the correction path is deleting the record and entering a manual index.

Projects without modems run on the same system
Where there is no remote infrastructure, indexes are read on site and imported through Excel or the field app. The billing engine is the same, so you never maintain two programs.
